CCS/CAIC Position Statement on the Optimal Care of the Postarrest Patient

Out of hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is associated with a low rate of survival to hospital discharge and high rates of neurological morbidity among survivors. Quality of Care for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

The Canadian Cardiovascular Society convened a working group to develop a set of PCI Quality Indicators (QIs) that would be relevant, scientifically acceptable, and feasible to measure and report. The working group was comprised of clinical experts from across Canada and members of provincial and federal organizations involved in promoting the quality of health care.

CAIC-ACCI Endorsement of a SCAI Clinical Document

The Executive would like to report that our Association has endorsed a document produced in collaboration with the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI). The Executive determined that an Affirmation of Value be given to the document titled 2015 SCAI/ACC/HFSA/STS Clinical Expert Consensus Statement on the Use of Percutaneous Mechanical Circulatory Support Devices in Cardiovascular Care.
