MEMBERSHIP VALUE
CAIC-ACCI strives to provide value to members as we work toward our shared vision of becoming THE reference for the development and delivery of Interventional Cardiovascular care throughout Canada and beyond. Our community continues to grow and we are excited by what the future holds.
Several initiatives and activities that create tangible membership value are highlighted below:
- Being a CAIC-ACCI member contributes to a national voice for interventional cardiology that advances the discipline in Canada and beyond. The larger our membership the stronger our voice.
- CAIC-ACCI played a central role in securing accreditation for the Royal College interventional cardiology diploma program. We actively support and deliver education for interventional Fellows.
- CAIC-ACCI plans to increasingly generate, endorse or comment on clinical documents that are relevant to the Canadian interventional community. Our goal is to provide a Canadian context to guide clinical and policy decisions that best serve our patients and our specialty.
- We are actively exploring collaborations and partnerships with meeting organizers and organizations such as SCAI and CRF that will benefit our members in multiple ways.
- CAIC-ACCI provides educational opportunities for its membership by way of workshops at CCC, TCT and other meetings.
- CAIC-ACCI members have access to all content on the Association’s website, including member-only sections where members may contribute to policy discussions.
- Members may stand for election to the executive and thereby contribute their expertise and opinion to the advancement of our specialty.
As one can appreciate our Association is working to elevate our relevance and influence, but this will only succeed with your interest and support.
